Lesson Reflection
I feel that Raven and I did well on our lesson on Tuesday, April 24th. Originally, we were going to do a lesson based on our digital story; however, we thought that that would be boring and wanted to do something more interesting and at the same time something that would benefit our classmates. We ended up doing our lesson on Spanish greetings and farewells. We tried to accommodate everyone needs and make it as fun as possible. Raven and I were both terrified and practiced many times. We decided to go in 30 minutes early to set up the lesson to make sure the audio was working, the smart board was up and running well. We also had to pull up our PowerPoint and the YouTube videos. We separated all the handouts and made sure everything was clear so that the students understood what to do. As the time got closer to 9:30, we were more nervous. Raven and I feared that students would misbehave while we were teaching. Surprisingly, the students were not too bad. We believe it was due to the fact that we had many activities, which kept the students on task and on their toes. Based on the peers evaluations, most of our classmates enjoyed the lesson. Both Raven and I realized that the vocabulary list of greetings and farewells that was up on the smart board could have been in a larger font for the whole class to read. Overall, I feel like we both did very well on our lesson and for the most part, it went as planned. Of course there will always be things that will have to be changed, but our changes were not huge. We handled it well and we were able to get through it. I had fun planning the lesson and had even more fun teaching it and observing how much the students enjoyed it. It was a pleasure working with Raven, she was very responsible and I feel like we both worked very well together. I was pleased with the outcome.

Digital Story was a completely new thing to me in the beginning. Honestly, I had no idea of what I was expected to do or if I would have a digital story done by the due date. During the process my partner Raven and I knew exactly what story we wanted to tell and share with our fellow classmates. After we knew what stroy we wanted to tell we decided on whether we wanted to use pictures online, take our own pictures, or us acted out. We came to the conclusion that the best option for the specific story we chose to do would be to choose a theme and look up pictures. We are both Spanish majors, we chose to do a Spanish sopaopera that was on air around a year ago. We decided to use the characters in the soapopera and justify it to our digital story. It was quiet a hassal trying to find the right pictures for each section of our story but in the end I feel like we were successful. Once the pictures were found we were undecided about what music we wanted to do because we knew we wanted to do two types of music a slo, relax and end with a creepy one, which relates to our story very well. Lastly, when recording our voices I had to redo it like 4 times before it actually sounded right..... to be continued.

Digital Story end of day 1
It is now the end of the class period and Raven and I have an idea of what we will be doing for our digital story. We still have to get the whole story together but at least we know where to begin! A beginning is always better than nothing. I hope that as time goes by and we work on it more, it will turn out to be decent. I can tell this story is going to be an adventure and a great experience. I have mix feelings about this digital story. I can't tell if I am excited or nervous, maybe both!
Digital Story Day 1
Today is the first day that I will be working on my digital story. To be honest i have no idea how this is going to go because i am really bad with technology. I feel like i will be lost throughout the whole process because this blogging thing itself is hard enough. As of right now i just know i will be working with Raven and we will be doing our story on a Spanish legend. Good luck to all you guys! :)
